Cantwell Keogh and Associates was founded by Donal Cantwell and John Keogh to provide a professional level of service in

• Emergency Response Management and Training,
• Fire Safety Engineering Design

The practice was established to fulfil an identified need from the market for full time, qualified and experienced consultants.

Michael Carroll joined the practice to lead the Fire Safety Engineering Department.

The practice expanded its portfolio to add Process Safety to its range of services. The Process Safety department of the practice specializes in the Pharmachem Industry and Seveso Consultancy. Roger Casey has led this Department since 1998.

The practice transferred all operations including engineering, administration and training staff to a state of the art facility at Castlewarren, Barnahely, Ringaskiddy, Co. Cork. This development incorporated purpose built training facilities for “Live” fire training and confined space training. Michael Murtagh joined the practice as Training Manager.

Extensions to the confined spaces training area and fire training facilities increased the range of practical training which can be delivered at Castlewarren.

The practice has continued to expand its range of services and facilities to the present day. The most recent project involved the installation of process vessels and associated equipment in the training building to provide a more realistic training environment for Response Teams.
