Donal Cantwell B.E. C.Eng. M.I.E.I Dip. Env. Eng.Donal Cantwell is a chartered civil engineer and a graduate of University College Cork. He has over 30 years specialist experience in fire safety engineering, training and management. Before co-founding Cantwell Keogh & Associates in 1991 with John Keogh, he served as a Senior Fire Officer with Waterford County and Cork County Fire Brigades. He was a course director on national hazardous materials training courses for Fire Brigade Officers. He specialises in advising and training on response options for major accident scenarios on high hazard sites
John Keogh B.E. C.Eng. M.I.E.I Dip. S.H.W.W.John Keogh is a chartered civil engineer and a graduate of University College Cork. He served as Chief Fire Officer with Cork County Fire Service and was involved in the assessment of major planning proposals and licencing of facilities in the Pharmaceutical Manufacturing and Petrochemical sectors. He provides specialist consultancy and training services on Emergency Planning, Crisis Management and Emergency Response. He has over 30 years experience in this field.
Michael Carroll B.E. M.I.E.I. Dip. S.H.W.W. Dip. Env. Eng.Michael Carroll is a civil engineer and a graduate of University College Cork. He is a company partner and is responsible for the fire safety engineering consultancy area of the practice. He has over 18 years experience in both the public and private sectors in the fire safety design of buildings. Michael previously worked for Dublin Corporation and Cork County Council Fire Departments before joining Cantwell Keogh & Associates in 1993.
Roger Casey B.Sc. (Chem. Eng.), MSc. (Eng), C.Eng., M.I.Chem.E.Roger is a senior consultant with responsibility for the process safety department at Cantwell Keogh & Associates. Roger has a degree in chemical engineering from CIT and a masters degree in fire and explosion engineering from the University of Leeds. He has 21 years experience, 18 working on process safety / major hazards. Roger has chaired over 1000 HAZOP meetings and presented over 50 training courses on the subject. He has produced numerous Seveso safety reports for clients in a number of industries. Roger is a registered process safety specialist with the I.Chem.E. Roger joined Cantwell Keogh & Associates in 1998 and previously worked in the pharmaceutical industry in Ireland, and has also worked in the U.K.
Lia O’ Shea B.E. M.I.E.I. Dip. S.H.W.W.Lia O’Shea is a civil engineer and a graduate of University College Cork. She joined the company in 1999. Previously, Lia was a Senior Fire Prevention Officer in both Cork County and Cork Corporation Fire Departments. She joined the Fire Safety Engineering department of the firm to cater for the expanding range of services being provided in fire safety design. Lia has been involved in the assessment of Fire Safety Certificate Applications during her time with the Local Authority and has completed a range of fire safety engineering design courses.
Graham Whittaker B.E. Mech.Graham is a graduate of Cork Institute of Technology. He is a mechanical engineer who worked in the manufacturing industry from 1995 until 2003. He then joined Cork County Council Fire Department where he worked as a senior Fire Prevention Officer. Graham joined Cantwell Keogh & Associates in 2006 and is involved in the preparation of Fire Safety Certificate Applications and other aspects of fire safety engineering design.
Michael MurtaghMichael is a former senior officer with Cork City Fire Service, with over thirty years fire brigade experience. He was recruited as training manager when Castlewarren Safety Centre was opened in 2000. Michael specialises in confined spaces and breathing apparatus training. He is a qualified BA instructor and FAS/FETAC approved confined spaces tutor. He also has extensive experience of emergency response training on high hazard sites.
Norma O’DriscollNorma has been employed by Cantwell Keogh and Associates since 1992 and is now office administration and accounts manager. Together with Orla O’Sullivan she forms the reception team who are the first points of contact for clients.
Orla O’SullivanOrla joined Cantwell Keogh and Assocaiates as secretary/receptionist in 2007.
Tadhg O’RiordanTadhg is a CAD Technician who has worked with Cantwell Keogh and Associates since 2004. He currently heads up the CAD support team for our Fire Safety Engineering Department. Tadhg qualified with a Certificate in Interior Architectural Technology from CIT and a further Certificate in Computer Aided Draughting and Design in 2004.
Karen O’SheaKaren is a CAD Technician who has worked for Cantwell Keogh and Associates since 2007. She has a NCVA Certificate in Interior Design (2004) and a Higher Certificate in Interior Architectural Technology from CIT (2006). Karen works with Tadhg as a support member of the fire safety engineering team.
Liam O’LearyLiam is a former Station Officer with Cork City Fire Service and is a qualified BA and Fire Service Instructor. Liam has worked for Cantwell Keogh & Associates since 1998, and has gained valuable experience in the specific training needs of Industrial Emergency Response Teams. He is also a specialist instructor on hospital and health care fire and evacuation Training. Donal O’HalloranDonal is a former Station Officer with Cork City Fire Service and is a qualified BA and Fire Service Instructor. Donal has worked for Cantwell Keogh & Associates since 2000, and has gained valuable experience in the specific training needs of Industrial Emergency Response Teams on Seveso and other high hazard sites.
Kieran CondonKieran is a former Station Officer with Cork City Fire Service and is a qualified BA and Fire Service Instructor. He is also a qualified FAS/FETAC confined spaces tutor. Kieran has worked for Cantwell Keogh & Associates since 2000. Like Liam he ia an experienced fire/evauation instructor in the hospital and health care sector. He is also involved with Michael Murtagh in Cantwell Keogh & Associates FAS/FETAC confined spaces courses at Castlewarren Safety Centre.
Martin CotterMartin is a former Station Officer with Cork City Fire Service and is a qualified BA and Fire Service Instructor. Martin has worked for Cantwell Keogh & Associates since 2000, and has instructed emergency response teams in high hazard industry, general industry and health care sector. |
